In California, front side windows must let in at least 70% of light. Rear side and back windows can be any darkness if your car has side mirrors. Yes, we charge for removing old tint, with pricing starting at $50. The final cost depends on factors like the condition of the old film, how difficult it is to remove, and whether there’s any adhesive left behind that needs extra cleaning. You should wait at least 3-5 days before rolling down your windows after installation to allow the tint to fully cure. It’s also normal to see small blisters or bubbles during this time—don’t worry!
